MAKHACHKALA, April 25 – RIA "Dagestan". Abdulrashid Sadulaev won his first European freestyle title in six years, taking gold in the 97 kg division at the Albania championship. He had been absent from continental events due to objective circumstances, but this year he was allowed to return.
In Tirana, Sadulaev dominated from start to finish. The final was a showcase: he crushed Ossetian-born Slovakian Batyrbek Tsakulov 14–3, displaying superior technique and control.
The victory is Sadulaev's seventh continental title, including European Games. It reaffirms his place among the greatest freestyle wrestlers of his generation—a career already packed with world championships and Olympic gold.
