RABAT, April 27 – RIA "Dagestan." Dagestani Paralympic track and field athlete Kazim Omarov won gold at a World Cup stage in Rabat, Morocco. The event drew over 400 athletes from 57 countries. Russia fielded seven competitors with musculoskeletal impairments, including two Dagestanis—Abukakhir Daukaev and Omarov.
Omarov took the first place in the men's shot put (F53 classification). At present, he trains under an Honored Coach of Russia as part of the Paralympic Reserve sports school and will next prepare for the Russian National Championships.
