MAKHACHKALA, March 3 – RIA "Dagestan". The Dynamo Society of the Republic of Dagestan hosted a combat handgun shooting championship dedicated to the Fatherland Defender Day.
The competition brought together teams from six federal executive authorities operating in the republic: the FSB Directorate, the Internal Affairs Ministry, the National Guard (Rosgvardiya), the Border Guard Directorate, the Federal Protective Service and Dagestan Customs. Events were held in men's and women's categories, as well as a separate division for leaders.
The top results were achieved by teams from the Rosgvardiya Directorate across the Republic of Dagestan, the FSB Directorate across the Republic of Dagestan and the Border Guard Directorate. Winners were awarded cups, medals, diplomas and valuable prizes.
According to the organizers, this championship represented the first event of this format conducted under the Dynamo Society in the Republic of Dagestan in recent years. The society's 2026 schedule reportedly includes more than 20 sporting events at the republican and interregional levels.
