MAKHACHKALA, March 25 – RIA Dagestan. Sergei Melikov, Head of Dagestan and Secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia political party, addressed participants of the "There Is a Result!" reporting and program forum.
During his address, the top official noted that the "People's Program" of the United Russia party, established in September 2021, was developed with input from citizens across all regions of the Russian Federation.
Melikov referenced statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the importance of coordination between legislative and executive bodies in advancing voter priorities, characterizing the program's implementation as a collective, system-wide objective.
"Today we can confidently state: this mechanism works effectively. Dagestan serves as a good example. In 2021, residents of the republic submitted more than 30,000 proposals. Dagestanis participated in roundtables, filled out questionnaires at public reception offices and shared their concerns—ranging from support for large families and courtyard improvements to the construction of rural medical centers and other social facilities" - the governor said.
Hundreds of schools, medical institutions, cultural centers, sports facilities and roads have been built or overhauled in Dagestan. Public spaces—parks, squares, embankments—have also been transformed as part of ongoing landscaping initiatives.
