MAKHACHKALA, April 16 – RIA Dagestan. Forbes has published its annual "30 Under 30" ranking—a list of the most promising young residents of Russia who have achieved professional recognition at the national or global level by the age of 30.
The list features individuals from the Caucasus region, including Timur Dalgatov, a 25-year-old agricultural entrepreneur. Dalgatov, originally from Astrakhan Oblast with Dagestani roots, spent a significant portion of his youth working on his grandparents' farm. He actively participated in the farm’s management until the age of 20. After completing his military service, his grandfather entrusted him with a flock of one hundred sheep, which provided the foundation for his independent farming venture.
By 2025, Timur Dalgatov had amassed over one million followers on social media and secured a role as a brand ambassador for Ushatava, featuring in one of the brand’s collections. His inclusion in the Forbes ranking acknowledges his business acumen, innovative contributions to agricultural practices and expanding prominence as a youthful leader within Russia’s agribusiness sector.
