MOSCOW, March 13 – РИА Dagestan. During the MITT-2026 international tourism exhibition in Moscow, Dagestan's Minister of Tourism and National Аке Crafts Emin Merdanov held negotiations with representatives of China's tourism industry to explore prospects for bilateral cooperation.
The parties have reached a preliminary agreement regarding the organization of a familiarization tour for a delegation of Chinese tour operators to Dagestan. A program for the visiting delegation is currently being developed, intended to feature the republic's mountainous landscapes, principal cultural and historical sites, and wellness-related infrastructure.
Chinese representatives expressed particular interest in Dagestan's natural therapeutic resources, especially radon springs and the "Akhtynskie Bani" bath complex in Southern Dagestan. Following productive discussions, both sides agreed to continue collaborative efforts to finalize the tour itinerary and expand tourism exchanges between Dagestan and China.
